Shipping

We offer complimentary ground shipping on orders $30+. Orders are shipped and delivered on business days, Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Our standard shipping carrier is DHL. Please anticipate 3-7 business days for standard ground shipping once processed. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and the US Virgin Islands take 2-4 additional days.

Returns

If at any time within 30 days of receipt, you are not happy with the product, we would be more than happy to process a return for you. We will generate a complimentary prepaid label and charge a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your return total. Please email connections@lore.world to request a return.

To receive a full refund to your original form of payment, items must be returned in new or gently used condition.

Shipping Protection

Shipping protection is an optional add-on available at checkout on lore.world. When added to your order, it covers the items in that order against loss, theft, and damage that occur in transit or upon delivery, subject to the terms below.

  • What's covered: Orders that are (a) lost in transit and not delivered, (b) marked delivered but stolen, or (c) damaged on arrival. Replacement is the standard resolution; where a replacement isn't available, we may issue a refund or store credit at our discretion.

  • Coverage window: Protection applies from dispatch until 24 hours after the carrier's delivery date. Claims must be reported within 2 days of the delivery date (for damage or theft) or the expected delivery date for orders that never arrive.

  • What's not covered: Orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout; items confiscated by customs or other authorities; delays that do not result in loss; orders returned to sender for reasons within the customer's control; and any order without shipping protection added at the time of purchase. Protection covers the contents of the order, not the cost of the protection itself.

  • How to file a claim: Email connections@lore.world with your order number and, for damage, a photo of the affected items and packaging. We'll confirm receipt and resolve eligible claims within 24-48 hours.

  • Protection Fee: The shipping protection fee is non-refundable once your order has shipped, including in cases where no claim is filed.

  • Scope: Shipping protection applies only to orders placed on lore.world. It does not apply to purchases made through Sephora or any other retailer.

  • Limits: Coverage is limited to the value of the protected order. We reserve the right to deny claims we reasonably determine to be fraudulent or outside these terms.
